Michele White, MSW
Executive Director

Michele joined the Greater Phoenix Equality Chamber of Commerce as their Executive Director in July of 2023. Before assuming her current role, Michele worked with other LGBTQ+ chambers of commerce to help them increase their funding, implement new systems and expand their services. Prior to her chamber work, she owned her own businesses and managed nonprofit organizations ranging from the arts to mental health services.

Michele uses her 25+ years of experience in nonprofit management and business ownership to support organizations and businesses in their growth and stability. Her wealth of varied experience includes training clients to advocate for themselves at the legislature, strategic planning and board development, fundraising, business operations and growth, staff and volunteer management, community organizing and systems creation.

She loves to promote community through education and has instructed in the Master of Social Work program at Arizona State University (ASU) in advocacy and community organizing. She earned a master’s degree in social work (Policy Administration and Community Organizing) and a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from ASU.

Michele is committed to supporting LGBTQ+ business growth and development to help promote a strong LGBTQ+ community in Greater Phoenix. She is also dedicated to collaboration and community building through strong relationships with other community organizations.

Michele is a third generation Phoenix native and is excited to help strengthen and support the vibrant LGBTQ+ community in Phoenix. She lives in central Phoenix with her wife, Trista, and loves singing, dancing, cooking and hiking. 

Fun fact: Michele has a deep understanding of small business in Phoenix. Her great-grandparents owned a restaurant in the Sears “mansion” on Central in the 40’s and 50’s, her grandparents owned a lock shop on 7th Street through the 70’s and she grew up helping in her parent’s locksmith then catering businesses. Michele has also owned businesses in central Phoenix, including Fair Trade Cafe from 2007-2013.

Chad Campbell
Membership Coordinator

Chad joined the Greater Phoenix Equality Chamber of Commerce as the Membership Services Coordinator in May 2024. Before joining the Chamber, he had a diverse career spanning both the nonprofit sector and state government. Nine years ago, Chad and his partner Shawn established their own business, which is currently located in downtown Phoenix. Additionally, Chad has served on numerous boards focusing on juvenile justice, wellness, and the arts.

 He strongly believes in promoting business development through traditional avenues while also emphasizing the importance of community engagement. He understands that fostering conversations and connecting to the vast resources available to small businesses are crucial for success. Chad is dedicated to embracing the rich and diverse networking opportunities offered by other business owners, recognizing that these connections are vital for the growth and prosperity of the business community.

 Originally from Missouri, Chad graduated from Missouri Western State University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice. After a prosperous career in Missouri, Chad accepted a position with the State of Arizona, prompting his move to Phoenix in 2008. He and his partner Shawn have been together for 15 years. Chad’s dedication to community, business development, and networking reflects his deep commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all. Chad is the father of 3 adult children and grandfather of 4.

Pedro Jungk
Executive Assistant

 

Pedro joined The Greater Phoenix Equality Chamber of Commerce as an assistant in September of 2023. Before joining the Chamber, he had a diverse career spanning from an amusement park employee to a City of Phoenix Police officer. His multifaceted career has equipped him with a unique set of skills and perspectives.

 

Originally from New Mexico, Pedro graduated from Grand Canyon University, “GO LOPES!”, with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Pre-Law. On the day of his graduation, was offered a career in law enforcement, and accepted the offer within a couple seconds, prompting his official move to Phoenix in 2018. He and his partner Steven have been together 5 years and have two sons. Pedro is committed to help support small businesses in the greater Phoenix area so that it becomes a more inclusive space for all.
